Music
Music has always been a big part of my life. From listening to classical music as a baby to help fall asleep, to attending Little Orchestra concerts for tots in NYC and Broadway Babies before I could walk. I suppose I was destined to have a love for music.
Growing up, I quickly became involved in musical performance opportunities. I started playing the tenor saxophone in 4th grade. I continued until I made it to the concert band in high school and eventually earned a spot in the coveted Jazz Band.
I have participated in the Illinois High School Association competition a full years of high school, consistently scoring a Division 1 Superior Rating.
While I wasn’t sure about my vocal music talent, I decided to try the “Latones”, the Latin School acapella group. I have enjoyed the upbeat camaraderie of this group and trying out a different way to appreciate my affinity towards music.
